The hood and old head lining were set up on a workbench prior to stripping. A single pivot point was used, rather than two, for ease of handling. The frame was modified to give better actuation. The headlining was scrapped as it had always been unsatisfactory. A new lining was made, to a different pattern, from West of England cloth. |
